Susan has been working as a mechanical engineer in the mining industry since graduating from the University of Queensland in 2009 with a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) and a Bachelor of Arts (Economics & Spanish). She has worked in Queensland and Western Australia at both coal and iron ore mine sites in mobile maintenance and now works in the rolling stock maintenance department for BHP’s iron ore railway.

Susan is very excited to be enrolling at Cranfield University’s School of Management where she expects to broaden her understanding and skills in business and also to develop her leadership skills. She is particularly attracted by the industry links of the university, the type of research conducted by the school of management, and the focus of the school on leadership and organisation behaviour.

After graduating, Susan would like to use her skills obtained from the MBA and build on her industry experience in continuous improvement to become an effective and innovative manager.

In her spare time, Susan enjoys windsurfing, travelling and she reads widely on subjects such as history, economics, psychology, science and politics.

Telecommunications Engineer.    Finalist. 

Vedran migrated from Bosnia to Australia as a refugee 20 years ago. He holds Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Honours) from University of Queensland and postgraduate studies in Technology Management where he received multiple scholarships and awards.

He worked with Telstra and Ericsson in Australia and overseas as a consultant and telecommunications engineer, designing and planning mobile communication networks in Europe and Middle East.

Outside work Vedran volunteers with Australian Business Community Network as a mentor for high school aged students from disadvantaged and refugee backgrounds. He also volunteers with University of Queensland mentoring engineering students. In his spare time, he is a keen swimmer, likes to read self-development books and enjoys yoga and meditation. Vedran’s other interests are soccer, international travel and landscape photography. He has travelled extensively, worked and lived in five countries and is multilingual.

Vedran is passionate about Australia and contributes his success in career and life to Australia’s values and way of life. He is excited about immersing himself in the MBA program and is looking forward to developing his leaderships, management and business skills. He sees the Cranfield MBA program as a once in a lifetime opportunity for personal and professional development.

Ganesh is a senior consultant and project lead in the technology space with experience working in Australia and Asia.  He was born in India and studied Bachelor of Engineering at University of Pune before migrating to Australia in year the 2011.

He has solid experience in ERP implementation, upgrade and maintenance projects.  Ganesh was the technical lead in the Retail Transformation program with Origin Energy and was part of the core group that implemented SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and migrated Origin Energy’s retail customers’ data from legacy environment onto ERP.

Ganesh intends to leverage his experience in conjunction with Cranfield MBA and looking forward to networking opportunity and personal growth at Cranfield SOM.

Outside of work, Ganesh is an avid runner, enjoys tennis and volunteers to non-government organizations. He is an accredited line umpire with Tennis Australia.
